The Parking Authority’s ‘narrative’ presented to Council last week refers to the $100,000 five-year loan (which the Borough is being asked to guarantee) as a ‘short-term vehicle.’
Mr. Cassidy tells Council, in response to questions, that the Authority would want to pay off the loan as soon as possible.
Mr. Krack tells Council that the loan being negotiated (the terms are apparently not yet set) will be interest-only for a year and that possibly it will be interest-only for the entire five years, with a balloon principal payment at the end.
Krack and Cassidy can’t even get their stories straight. And will the Council notice?

I think it's quite obvious--on many issues--that Krack and Cassidy are in cahoots! Am I the only one that sees this?
Cahoots, sure. But you would think that they'd get their lines (or are they lies) straight.
Gee...yeah....we're going to pay it off early....gee yeah....that's the ticket......
Cassidy soulds like a bad imitation of the Saturday Night Live pathelogical liar routine that was on years ago. It would be almost as funny if it wasn't our tax money involved.
I'd have more confidence in Holy Family's 5th grade class being seated on the parking authority and in those 5 seats on council, too.
At least the Holy Family 5th graders would be honest.
I would like to see these 5 democrats go on " ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A FIFTH GRADER"
Speck would be the most interesting contestant.
Can't Barry weasel a loan from his new buddy Richard Kunsch (CEO, Phoenixville Federal Bank & Trust) and fellow member of the Citizens Advisory Committee?
Maybe he doesn't see any future in the Parking Authority either.
