Clamor yes; answers, no.

“For Phoenixville pride, and for Phoenixville pocketbooks: Push Parking!”–Patricia Matson of The Phoenix.

I am reminded of the quote that ran in The Phoenix May 10, 2007:

“ ‘Get us our garage ...’ said Ken Beard of Jaworski’s Music.”

What I suggested to Mr. Beard at that time is reproduced below. Not Mr. Beard, Ms. Matson, Mr. Lawrence, nor anyone on the Council or the CDC has yet put forward in public any answers.

Mr. Breuer,

I appreciate your approach. I think your "application", while a humorous/sarcastic approach, is a good, basic template that the public should consider. Residents and business owners alike are quick to shake their fists about a need or a problem, but often slow to realize the measured steps required for planning a viable solution. They want answers NOW...but these things take time. Now, a few years after realization of the parking problem, our Councilmembers have a difficult task at hand this very evening. Tongiht we will see who gets to answer those questions, a task force or a parking authority.

I say task force.
